Apicoectomy is a surgical procedure performed at Imed Clinic, during which pathological contents (cyst or granuloma) are removed from the bone in the tip of the tooth together with the top layer of the root.

These oral surgery procedures are performed at Imed Clinic only after exhausting all possible conservative methods of root canal treatments, when the inflammation (granuloma or cyst) is still present and this is the last chance to save the tooth, say experts at Imed. Causes of cysts are manifold, and the precondition is the appearance of epithelial tissue from which the cyst develops. We can surgically remove a part of or the entire cyst.
